As Legacy Station gets closer to being completely built out, the need for another community has grown. This need will answered by Heritage Village. This new, much larger community will allow Turning Point to continue to pursue its mission of providing good, low cost housing to those who could not otherwise afford to own their own home, primarily to single parents. The fifth annual Turning Point Golf Tournament was another big success. Hard to believe it is already number five. Great weather and good fellowship turned the event into a great outing once again.
All associated with Turning Point Ministries would like express our appreciation for the hard work of our organizers and host and hostess, Boone Ellis and Linda Boyce, as well as all the generous folks who contributed money, prizes, gift cards and time to make the event the success it was.
Next year’s tournament is already being planned, if you are interested in being a sponsor, or would just like more information, go to our “Contact Us” Page and send us a note.
The latest project undertaken by Turning Point Ministries was a duplex built in Legacy Station. The project has officially been completed, dedicated and two families are moving in over the New Year holiday! The project represents many, many hours of volunteer time and effort. The families who are moving
in are most appreciative and excited about the move. Each side has three bedrooms and is complete with foam insulation, geothermal heating and cooling and a security system, among many amenities!

For more than 20 years, St. John the Baptist Catholic church has given it’s annual Samaritan Award to organizations which help in the community. Turning Point Ministries is honored to have been chosen as the first place winner of this year’s award. Board members Dick Freeman and Josh Moore were on hand to accept a handsome plaque and a generous check for $2,000. The funds will help the Ministry in a big way. Also recognized for their work were the Coffee Creek Riding Center and Birth Choice of Oklahoma. Many sincere thanks to our friends at St. John’s for their recognition of our efforts.
