In order to keep up with the growth of our ministry and increase the number of people we are able to serve in the Edmond community, Turning Point Ministries is hiring a part-time Executive Director. Beginning in 2008, Turning Point relied on a volunteer Board of Directors until a few years ago when we hired our first employee, a building superintendent. We are now at a point where the work exceeds what can be accomplished through a volunteer board. Please share with anyone you know that might be interested in the position. Applicants should thoughtfully read the job description and send a resume using the buttons below.
This Sunday, November 17th at 2:00, we will dedicate the home at 200 N. Walnut for Turning Point’s newest homeowners, Arminder and Amandeep Kounsil. Turning Point board members will lead a home blessing ceremony followed by refreshments. We invite all friends and supporters of Turning Point to celebrate with us!
We have a Turning Point home currently under construction at 201 N. Walnut in our neighborhood Heritage Village which was funded in part by a grant from Wells Fargo. In addition to financial assistance for the home, our local Wells Fargo personnel will be joining Turning Point volunteers tomorrow, October 1, to work on the home. All Turning Point volunteers are welcome to join us. Group volulnteer days are a great way that your group can enjoy serving together while offering much-needed support to Turning Point. If your business, church or other organization is interested in scheduling a Volunteer Day, please contact us. Thank you to Wells Fargo and everyone who supports Turning Point through volunteering, financial support or prayer.
Turning Point Ministries is pleased to announce that this Sunday, August 4th, at 2 pm, we will hold another home dedication. Joy Usoh and family are the excited new homeowners. Turning Point home dedications include a meaningful blessing ceremony and light refreshments. Please join other supporters of Turning Point and us to bless their new home at 416 Victory Rd. The home is located in our Legacy Station neighborhood just west of Broadway between Thatcher and Edwards.
