In order to become a home owner through Turning Point, people go through a lengthy process that includes a home buyer education class, a budget and planning process, and sweat equity volunteer work toward their home or other Turning Point projects. We have recently incorporated Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University into this process as well. We desire the process that our families go through and the resulting home ownership to be a turning point in their lives. For families that have struggled financially, Financial Peace University has shown to be a turning point as well.
We are excited to announce that we will be hosting our first Financial Peace University class so that in addition to impacting Turning Point families we can bless the Edmond community as well. The class is available for anyone in the area who would like to join us. We are grateful to 1st Presbyterian Church of Edmond for providing their facilities for the class.
